Hi Mr. McCausland,
Our son, Dillon Shipman was one of your former piano students. He had his first piano recital at Willoughby Fine Arts in July 1997. He was getting ready to attend kindergarten in the Fall. He continued with piano lessons and has a love and passion for playing the piano. Dillon became our church pianist at the age of 12 of planned and played the hymns each week. He also played for every music teacher elementary through high school. Dillon has played for the high school musical the past few years and at the Geauga Music Theater too. This past spring he accompanied 20 students for competition. He also self taught himself how to play the organ. He is getting ready to have his senior piano recital tomorrow July 30th. Your name has come up various times throughout the years so yesterday Dillon went on line and saw that you are teaching at CSU. I wanted to surprise Dillon and invite you to his recital. It will be at St. Andrew Episcopal Church- 7989 Little Mountain Road- Mentor at 7:00. He is very good friends with his former and current teacher. He will be playing duets with them! If you are not able to attend, maybe Dillon will be able to meet up with you someday. You will be very proud of him!
Take Care,
Tami Shipman
